The ArtPride New Jersey Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is currently seeking freelance videographers to create compelling content for its Culture Vultures digital publication, produced in partnership with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

Videographers will work with our creative team to plan and film content on location, as well as edit content to create video segments 3-8 minutes in length. Candidates must own and maintain their own video and audio recording equipment, have experience using video editing software, and posses a track record of presenting complete, polished projects on deadline. Videographers will work with on-camera segment hosts under the direction of ArtPride's marketing and communications manger, who serves as assignment editor.

Duties and Responsibilities

Plan video shoots with the creative team

Record on location using professional video, lighting, and audio equipment

Post-production video editing

Must own and maintain equipment


Associate's degree in a relevant field (or relevant experience)

A minimum of 1-3 years of experience using professional recording equipment

Knowledge of video editing software (Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)

Ability to work both independently and on a team

Preference will be given to candidates who are aware of the latest SEO techniques and are able to aid in the development of strategies that will increase audience engagement across multiple platforms. Travel throughout the region will be necessary.

Salary: $1300 per/segment (plus travel expenses)
