The ArtPride New Jersey Foundation (ArtPride), a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, has an immediate opening for a full-time Digital Content Manager to create, manage, maintain, and improve a wide range of digital content to help the organization meet its goals.

Under the supervision of the Director of Programs & Services, this key staff position is responsible for content management for both ArtPrideNJ.org and JerseyArts.com, managing a team of freelance journalists, and overseeing all organizational website and video assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage content on JerseyArts.com in support of consumer-facing seasonal marketing campaigns including, but not limited to: event selection/solicitation, discount opportunities, member events, directory listings, and feature content.

Serve as JerseyArts.com assignment editor, determining story ideas and assigning coverage to a team of freelance writers, producers, correspondents, and videographers, as well as editing and publishing feature stories, video packages, and podcasts across multiple digital platforms.

Work with the Director of Advocacy & Public Policy to develop and implement a messaging calendar for ArtPrideNJ.org’s Voices from the Field blog.

Regularly monitor and update ArtPrideNJ.org, ensuring all site content is current, and work with ArtPride team members to produce new content as needed.

Coordinate content for both ArtPride and Discover Jersey Arts-branded YouTube channels.

Work with the Director of Programs & Services to identify potential new content features for both ArtPrideNJ.org and JerseyArts.com.

Assist with site monitoring and performance of routine tasks associated with site maintenance of ArtPrideNJ.org and JerseyArts.com.

Work with the President & CEO and Director of Programs & Services to identify benchmark goals and provide regular reporting to measure success.

Serve as a member of the ArtPride team currently working with a third-party development firm on the site redesign of JerseyArts.com (projected launch: Mar/Apr 2022).

Other duties and tasks, as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in digital content production and management (or similar work experience that could translate to this position), exceptional written and verbal communication skills, the capacity to work well both independently and collaboratively, and a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a highly productive work environment.

Experience with online content management systems (Drupal preferred), the Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe Photoshop are essential. Experience with audio and video editing tools, project management tools, and customer relationship management software are a plus, but not required.

The desired individual must possess a driven passion for the arts. Previous nonprofit experience, particularly in the arts and culture sector, is a plus. Although this position will function primarily remotely, some in-person time at the ArtPride office in Burlington, NJ will be required. Limited travel to meet with member organizations throughout the state will also be required at times.
