Development Director – bergenPAC

Position Overview: The Development Director at bergenPAC will serve as a contributing member of the senior management team to provide strategic leadership and direction for the organization’s fundraising and development initiatives, ensuring sustained growth in contributions and long-term donor engagement. This role involves driving major fundraising campaigns, building robust relationships with individual donors, managing foundation relationships, overseeing grant applications, and managing a development team to support bergenPAC’s mission to provide accessible, world-class arts and education programs. The Director will be able to leverage a network of contacts and donor relationships in the NY/NJ metro philanthropic sector to support these goals.

The NJ Symphony is seeking a Campaign Director to join its dynamic, fast-paced, mid-sized development team. The team is responsible for raising a total of $10MM - $13MM each year to advance the mission of the Symphony. It is now embarking on a comprehensive campaign to raise funds to sustain the annual fund, provide capital funding for the Symphony Center project and grow its pipeline of endowment gifts through legacy giving.

The Campaign Director will be responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination and management of the Campaign. They help set strategy as well as execute all aspects of a multi-faceted, multi-year, multi-phased campaign. They work collaboratively with members of the Development and senior administrative staff, campaign committee volunteers and consultants.

The Program Assistant works closely with all departments, reports to the Operations Director, and interacts regularly with the visiting public. This is a full-time position with a work week that aligns with evening and weekend programming, generally Tuesday through Saturday. Young Audiences of New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania (YANJEP) is seeking new assembly programs for grades PreK-12, led by teaching artists who love not just sharing their artform, but educating children about it.

YA assemblies are typically 45 minutes in length and take place during the school day. Our artists are independent contractors whose programs are scheduled on a gig-basis.
