As you know, this is a pivotal election year and voter turnout is more crucial than ever. Registering to vote is the first step to taking part in our collective civic duty. In addition to going out and voting, it is also imperative that we spread the word about voter registration. September 17th is National Voter Registration Day. Know Before You Vote: Where Do The Candidates Stand on the Arts?

Voting is a huge part of being an arts advocate. But it’s also crucial to be an informed voter. Advocating for the sustainability and accessibility of the arts requires us to know where our elected officials stand on these issues. Each year, ArtPride New Jersey distributes surveys to all incumbent legislators and challengers to inform New Jersey residents about each candidate's positions on the arts. Our organization makes this information available to voters for informative purposes only. Responses do not suggest the endorsement of any candidate or party.
