The Count Basie Center for the Arts, in the ever-growing and beautiful downtown Red Bank, New Jersey, is seeking an outgoing, service oriented, experienced part-time Assistant House Manager to support our Front of House operations.

The Education Director reports to the Deputy Director and is responsible for planning, producing, and managing the various aspects of the craft schools educational programming. Known for the intimate and immersive hands-on, weekend, weekly and week-long summer programming, Peters Valley’s programs have expanded to include virtual and shorter format educational programs. Applicants should possess strong working knowledge of craft disciplines of blacksmithing, ceramics, textiles, fine metals, woodworking, glass, printmaking and photography and have experience with immersive educational programs at craft schools and/or academia. The position requires strong communication, organizational, management and human relational skills and a love of working with others as a team player.

McCarter Theatre Center is seeking a collaborative, community-minded Education Programs Manager to help shape and expand our in-school, on-site, and community-based education initiatives. The Count Basie Center for the Arts’ Phoenix Productions in the ever-growing and beautiful downtown Red Bank, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Technical Specialist to facilitate the construction, transportation and installation of our scenic element and manage our professional-grade scene shop to further enhance the production quality of our organization. The position reports to Phoenix Productions Managing Artistic Director, and works closely with Technical Directors of the Basie Center and show staff, including directors and designers, to reach artistic goals within allotted resources.

The Program Coordinator works closely with all departments, reports to the Operations Director, and interacts regularly with the visiting public. This is a full-time position with a work week that aligns with evening and weekend programming, generally Tuesday through Saturday.

Reporting to the Director of Ticketing & Venue Engagement, the Box Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and management of the Box Office for the Count Basie Center’s two on-site venues and is the lead on all customer service issues. This position works in tandem with the Operations, Marketing, Development, Finance, House Staff, Production, Facilities and Education departments. The Box Office Manager is responsible for scheduling, managing and providing leadership to the Box Office Associates, tracking daily sales and deposits, providing excellent customer service to all theatre patrons and external clients, and ensuring that all revenue-generating opportunities are maximized. The Box Office Manager will also serve as the Count Basie Center’s ADA Coordinator.
