Thank you for your commitment. We understand this is a volunteer committee but there are a few things that are expected of committee members, current and new.
If we have 12 monthly meetings (not including sub-committee meetings or gatherings) you need to be present 50% or more.
- If you can’t attend, you need to reply and let the co-chair (Rachel Aponte, Susan Justiniano, Deonté Griffin-Quick, or Vince Hall)
Do your best to stay connected
- Read materials (sent in emails & available in the Google Drive)
- Respond when necessary to emails.
- If you can’t attend, please review the notes & watch the recording if available.
Active participation is required during meetings and sub-committee
- Be engaged
- Be punctual
- Come prepared
- Speak clearly
- Give others the opportunity to speak
- Follow the agenda
- Ask clarifying questions
- Be attentive to your body language
