Justice Across Sectors: What Arts Leaders Need to Know
Thursday, February 26, 2026 | 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Arts organizations do not operate in isolation. This conversation brings together leaders from key social justice movements in New Jersey, including immigration justice, racial justice, environmental advocacy, and LGBTQ+ activism. Moderated by Maria Carnemolla of Gathering Ground, the session will highlight major issues and trends shaping the state today. Participants will gain insight into how community priorities intersect, how these movements might connect with the arts sector, and why cross-sector collaboration strengthens collective and creative impact. Join this session as we work together to broaden perspectives, break down silos, and help arts leaders respond with clarity and solidarity.
