Event-related spending by cultural audiences is estimated using the average dollars spent per person, per event by cultural attendees (including meals, souvenirs, transportation, lodging, etc.) in similarly populated communities.
This total economic impact generated an additional $2,004,070 million in local, state, and federal government revenue from taxes (income, sales, lodging, real estate, personal property, etc.) paid by both businesses and individuals as well as funds from license fees, utility fees, filing fees, and other similar sources.
