As the organization continues to build on the momentum of its first six years, ArtYard seeks an Assistant to the Executive Director who will support the ED in bringing to fruition ArtYard’s diverse array of programs, exhibitions, concerts, film series, residency programs, and workshops. The Assistant to the ED will act as a researcher and creative sounding board in the development of ArtYard’s interdisciplinary programming.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Assistant to the Executive Director will manage the ED’s calendar, schedule ED’s meetings, create, manage and maintain the ED’s filing system, take notes in meetings and manage email, responding to and prioritizing communication. The Assistant to the ED will order supplies, make travel arrangements, and assist with Board packet creation, distribution and archiving. The Assistant will update and maintain the Artard program calendars, both electronic and conference room versions.

The salary for this full-time role is $55,000 to $70,000, commensurate with experience.
