The Office Manager of the GSP is accountable for the management of ticket sales, marketing, donor relations, community engagement and coordination of venues in order to achieve the GSP's mission of bringing classical music to the community and achieve its goals for artistic excellence, audience development, education, financial stability and community engagement. This position manages the operation and administrative needs of all the Philharmonics's entities which currently include a professional orchestra and community outreach programs. The Office Manager provides support to the Music Director and Board (thru the President) that will contribute to the organization's success.

Duties and Responsibilities

Support all aspects of concert/event production/ticket sales.

Develop marketing, promotional and communications programs designed to ensure image, brand excellence and audience development.

Develop a collaborative relationship with the Music Director & Conductor that fosters excellence in concert and event planning, implementation and audience development.

Ensure a creative and broad-based presence on social media and the GSP webpage that enhances the organization's ability to market effectively.

Support the planning and managing of fundraising events with a focus on audience development.

Support efforts to establish broad-based community support through development of productive relationships with corporate and community business leaders, other arts organizations, educational and community organizations.

Help recruit and maintain an effective volunteer force.

The office manager will be expected to work in the GSP office at Ocean County College, Toms River.

Requirements

The successful candidate must be articulate, flexible, energetic and an enthusiastic ambassador capable of supporting the organization effectively.

Candidates should have a passion for classical music, willingness to become familiar with the classical repertoire and experience in an orchestra and/or musical environment

An undergraduate degree in Art Management or related field is a definite plus.

The candidate should have excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills' marketing/public relations, concert & event production , social media skills and systems management.
