Duties and Responsibilities

The American Theater Group, a professional, regional theater company in residence at the Sieminski Theater in Basking Ridge, has an exciting, immediate opportunity for a candidate with strong customer service and sales experience to join its team as Group Sales Manager. Reporting to the Producing Artistic Director, the Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing, and will handle all group sales initiatives, with the goal of increasing patron base and group sales revenue. Candidates should possess a strong sales drive and have excellent multi-tasking, communication and organizational skills. This is a remote part-time position and initial responsibilities will be for selling upcoming performances in March and May and compensation will be commission-based.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated team player, must be committed to maintaining a superior level of customer service at all times and must be detail-oriented, customer-focused and results-driven. Candidate will work closely with Ticket Services and Marketing to identify and maximize group ticket sales opportunities. Duties will include managing group sale campaigns and administration in addition to identifying and fostering relationships with new groups, assisting in creating group sale direct mail pieces and consistent outreach via phone and email to targeted groups.
