The Social Media Coordinator is to assist and support the American Repertory Ballet (ARB) and Princeton Ballet School (PBS) Marketing Team on all aspects of social media content capture, creation, and management, with primary focus on PBS channels. The Social Media Coordinator works primarily at PBS’s Princeton Studios with additional work at performances, community events, and at PBS’s New Brunswick Studios. Some remote work may be possible.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Capture and create social media posts (videos, images, captions) across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Primary focus will be on Princeton Ballet School channels.

• Assist in planning, implementing, and managing social media campaigns to achieve specific goals.

• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster engagement with the audience.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of social media efforts and identify areas for improvement.

• Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices to inform content strategy.

• Work with the Marketing Team to ensure brand consistency and contribute to overall marketing strategies.
Assist with general Marketing duties and contribute to the smooth functioning of the Marketing Team such as event listings, data entry, on-site Box Office and Event support, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Successful applicants will have:

• 1-3 years of professional experience in Social Media

• A degree in the field of Marketing, Communications, Dance, Arts Non-Profit, or other relevant program

• Detailed knowledge of social media platforms and content creation, with primary focus on video capture and editing.

• Ability to create visually appealing content.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to track and analyze social media performance and identify trends.

• Knowledge of how social media marketing aligns with broader business goals.

• Highly organized to manage social media calendars, schedule posts, and track performance.

• Strong ethics in teamwork and collaboration to work effectively with other members of the Marketing Team and other departments.

• Knowledge and appreciation of dance is preferred, but not required.

How To Apply
