Duties and Responsibilities

Please keep in mind, only Actors Equity members in good standing may make an appointment, as per AEA rules. However, we highly encourage all NJ local performers to attend. Equity and Non-Equity walk-ins are welcome and will be seen as time permits. 


SEEKING:

Equity Actors for principal roles in the 25/26 Season at McCarter Theatre Center.


PREPERATION:

Each actor will have three minutes. Please prepare a brief monologue or two contrasting one-minute monologues. If you wish to sing for this season’s musical, please prepare a monologue and a 16-bar cut of a contemporary musical theatre song. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together, with contact information clearly printed on the resume.

We are not actively seeking stage managers for the 25/26 Season, but we welcome submissions. Please send your information and resume to production@mccarter.org. The deadline for submission is June 1st, 2025.
