Peters Valley School of Craft is seeking an experienced Development Director to help lead a development campaign focused on individual donors. Initially the fundraising will focus on donations for general operating funds but will expand within 12-24 months to include a sizeable capital campaign. This position* reports to the Executive Director and will include responsibility for the full spectrum of fundraising activities.

Peters Valley is a mission-driven non-profit fine craft school, situated on a uniquely beautiful campus located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in northwestern New Jersey. Under the supervision of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the daily and overall operation of the organization, including but not limited to the management, coordination, and development of all fiscal, program, and staff activities. This multi-faceted position includes strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, building/managing a small team, fundraising and development, creation/oversight of programs, and advocacy and awareness-building for the value of arts/creativity in building Atlantic City’s future. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Wharton Arts is seeking a detail-oriented Development Associate to join our team. The Development Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts through donor cultivation, database management, event support, financial reconciliation and reporting, and digital campaign management. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office in Berkeley Heights, NJ, and two days remote.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Chief Development Officer will plan, manage, implement, and evaluate all aspects of a diverse and dynamic fundraising program serving the financial needs and goals of Princeton Symphony Orchestra's complete range of concerts and community engagement activities. The Chief Development Officer will oversee fundraising priorities, policies, and procedures that contribute to a development program that continuously cultivates new prospects, seeks out new funding opportunities, demonstrates the highest standards of professionalism, and reflects the values of Princeton Symphony Orchestra.

The Development Associate is responsible for managing and tracking the funding received via donations, grants, special events, and membership by the Art Center. They assist the Director of Development in developing and implementing fundraising strategies, annual appeal solicitations, special events including the annual spring gala, and membership engagement and renewals. The position requires managing and developing relationships with the people associated with executing those responsibilities.

The Grants and Development Communications Manager is the lead grant writer for foundation and government grants and manages an existing portfolio of 70+ institutional donors, as well as pursuing new institutional funding opportunities. This role serves as the project manager for major and multi-year grants to ensure timely management of grant requirements including the project content, budget, and deliverables.

Additionally, this position oversees the development staff’s writing for accuracy and consistency, with full editing rights over all documents and electronic communications, ensuring all messaging is streamlined and cohesive. This role guarantees that external communications consistently and effectively convey McCarter’s mission and vision.

Wharton Arts seeks a full-time Director of Development who will collaborate with the Executive Director to lead its philanthropic efforts and coordinate its Capital and Endowment Campaigns. With the support of the Executive Director, the Director of Development is responsible for policy, strategy, and implementation of all development activities, including all aspects of individual and major gift giving: prospecting, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship; special development events and program highlights; foundation cultivation, grant writing and research; corporate sponsorships and collaborations; and alumni programming. The Director of Development works closely with the Executive Director, Marketing Director, Senior Staff, and the Board of Trustees.

Carolyn Dorfman Dance, New Jersey’s premier modern dance company, in its 42nd season, is seeking a Grants writing /Development Consultant to assist in expanding our fundraising, outreach efforts and manage our new CRM database, Bloomerang.

This position reports to the Executive Director, will support the work of the marketing manager, confer with the fundraising committee of the board and help execute programs as appropriate.
